Member Referral Program -  Would you like to share all the benefits you enjoy as a MindShare member with your peers?  Do you know of any COSE businesses in need of a peer advisory group?

Refer a friend or business associate to a COSE MindShare group.  If they join, you will be entered into a quarterly drawing for tickets to a local event. You will receive one entry for each member that joins a MindShare group.  In addition, if you refer 4 new MindShare members in a year, you will receive a complimentary MindShare membership renewal.  Lastly, you will also be highlighted in the Member Spotlight in the COSE MindShare eNews.  It pays to refer a friend!

Tips from your MindShare Peers

  • Six Disciplines - Is excellence important to you and your business? If so, learn about the Six Disciplines that can help drive your business toward success.  Click HERE to listen to a series of podcasts with Eric Kurjan, president and owner of the Six Disciplines Leadership Center of Northwest Ohio.  Do you know how to keep on the upward vector in your business, be sure to listen to the podcast on Growth: How to Get to Your Destination.
  • Get to know your group members- schedule one-on-one lunches or coffee with a member throughout the month to learn more about them as a person and how you can better know his/her business.
  • Share resources – each month, one member brings a book, article or other resource to the meeting to discuss i.e. marketing is always a hot topic.
  • Have a focus item – prior to each meeting, decide as a group a specific discussion topic i.e. members each bring sample marketing pieces from their business to share and get feedback.
  • Stale meetings? Read a great article HERE on how to run an effective meeting.
  • Be action-minded. Yes, the MindShare group is supportive of each member.  But you’re not there just to talk.  You’re there to strategize, to develop tactics, and take the plans you’ve brainstormed and put them into action.
  • Define SMART Goals.  Once you have set your short-term and long-term goals, accountability for reaching those goals is encouraged by the group.
  • Network for your group. You’ll find yourself in a position to help each other with business contacts. You’ll know your group really well in a short time, and will be a great advertisement for them.  Be generous with your match-making – open your contact list to the group whenever you can.
